JAMMU, DECEMBER 03: The district administration Jammu has taken cognizance of the claims about stalled road-widening work between Kameshwar Mandir and Pannu Chowk and has clarified that the project is on track.
Refuting claims made in a report published by a local daily, Executive Engineer PWD(R&B) Akhnoor stated that the work on the main road is on. Drain construction near the bridge has commenced, and wet mix material has been dumped at the site. Within three days, the work for blacktopping the bridge approach will also begin.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya has reiterated that there is no question of halting the work. He further assured the public that the administration is fully committed to completing the project at the earliest to minimize inconvenience to residents and commuters.
