Srinagar: As the cold has gripped Kashmir Valley, the Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to close down the educational institutions in a phased manner -starting from December 5.
Principal Secretary School Education Department (SED), Alok Kumar said that the winter vacation for students up to class 5th will commence from December 5. He said winter vacations for 6th to 8th class students will start from December 12 while vacations for students from 9th to 12th will commence from December 19. [KNT]
