JAMMU, OCTOBER 15: The Jammu & Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL) organized a State-Level Training of Trainers (ToT) program aimed at strengthening the public health supply chain management across the region.

The training initiative brought together key stakeholders from the healthcare sector, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain for essential medical supplies and equipment.

Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd. He highlighted the critical role that the trained personnel will play in optimizing the management, storage, and distribution of medical supplies to improve patient outcomes.

The training program saw participation from Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, various Regional Drug Warehouses of JKMSCL, senior officials, pharmacists, and supply chain managers from various health facilities across Jammu Division. Renowned experts from PATH, served as resource persons, sharing their insights and practical knowledge with the attendees. The sessions included hands-on training, case study discussions, and real-world problem-solving exercises.

The ToT program was met with positive feedback from the participants, who appreciated the in-depth sessions and interactive approach. The newly trained personnel are expected to play a pivotal role in cascading the knowledge and practices learned during the training to their respective teams, ensuring a uniform implementation of best practices in public health supply chain management across the state.

In his closing remarks, Kapil Sharma stated, “This training program marks a significant step towards building a robust healthcare supply chain system in Jammu & Kashmir. By investing in the skills and capacity of our workforce, we are ensuring that quality medical supplies reach every corner of the Union Territory, ultimately benefiting the people we serve.
