POONCH, OCTOBER 25: A one-day capacity building program was conducted today here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex as part of the Mission YUVA (Yuva Udhyami Vikas Abhiyan) to equip stakeholders with the tools and knowledge to advance the mission’s goals.
Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal chaired the event attended by a large number of functionaries of stakeholder departments.
Deputy Director Employment Mohammad Rafiq gave a brief description about Mission YUVA followed by other speakers. The program seeks to empower the youth by fostering essential skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
The program focused on creating a sustainable and innovative environment for young entrepreneurs, offering guidance on how to support and nurture innovative ideas. Through this initiative, the mission aspires to instill confidence and self-reliance in young minds, encouraging them to become future-ready leaders in their fields.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of such initiatives, stating, “Empowering our youth with the right skills and mindset is crucial for the future of our region. Mission YUVA is a step towards building a robust ecosystem that supports innovation and entrepreneurship, ensuring that young people are at the forefront of sustainable development.”
The day-long program included interactive sessions and workshops, where participants gained insights into entrepreneurial opportunities, sustainability practices, and innovation strategies. By aligning with the objectives of Mission YUVA, the event marked another milestone in the district’s efforts to promote youth development and entrepreneurship.
The program was attended by General Manager DIC, Chief Planning Officer, DSEO, Superintendent ITI, BDO’s, CDPO’s, Nodal Officer JKEDI, Lead District Manager, Cluster Head JK Bank and other officers from J&K Bank and SBI.
