DODA, NOVEMBER 06: The 2nd Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) and monitoring committee meeting was held yesterday at Kendriya Vidyalaya Jodhpur- Doda.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, as the Chairman of Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC).

The meeting was attended by Tehsildar , Xen Jal Shakti, Incharge Principal KV Jodhpur, AEE Jal Shakti, along with teacher representatives, eminent community members and parents.

The agenda of the meeting included deliberations on optimizing the Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) budget for 2024-25 to meet the evolving needs of the school; presentation of a comprehensive profile of the current student and staff strength; offering an up-to-date overview of the school’s community, updates on the status of the permanent school building construction.

Discussions further covered the requirements for water and electricity supply to the new building, exploring the possibility of extending the Vidyalaya to include classes XI and XII, addressing the academic aspirations of the region’s students, analysis of academic achievements and results from Term-I; highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement; review of the school’s staffing needs, current enrollment, and new admissions cases for the Academic session 2024-25 session.

Emphasis was laid on health aspects, including the establishment of an internal complaint committee to address any grievances, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students and staff alike.
