RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 29: A three-day Rashtriya Netra Jyoti Abhiyan commenced today in the District Hospital Ramban under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and in collaboration of the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kamal Jee Zadoo.
Under the supervision of Medical Superintendent Dr. Virender Trisal, a Special Health Camp has been set up to cater to the needs of the community.
The primary focus of this mission is to provide essential eye care services, with a particular emphasis on conducting surgeries on the individuals with conditions such as cataracts and other minor defects. Furthermore, free eye lenses will be fitted to patients holding the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Card (Golden Card) under the Ayushman Bharat-PM Jan Arogya Yojna (Scheme).
The first day witnessed a total of 30 surgical procedures successfully conducted by a team of doctors.
This initiative underscores unwavering commitment of the health department to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to all members of the community.
