KATHUA, APRIL 25: The three-day Training Programme for Field Trainers in connection with Census 2027 (Phase-I: House Listing & Housing Census) concluded today at the Conference Hall of DC Office complex here.
The programme was organized under the overall supervision of the Principal Census Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Kathua Rajesh Sharma, with the objective of strengthening the capacity of Field Trainers for effective conduct of the upcoming census operations in the district.
The valedictory session was attended by the District Census Officer (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Kathua Vishavjeet Singh who reviewed the proceedings and appreciated the active participation of the trainees. He highlighted the significance of census as a vital tool for developmental planning and policy formulation and urged the participants to disseminate the knowledge gained with dedication and a sense of responsibility.
During the three-day programme, detailed training on various aspects of House Listing and Housing Census, including field-level procedures, digital data entry mechanisms and operational protocols was imparted by District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Kathua, Sidharth Anand and Sanjay Kumar, Master Trainer from Directorate of Census Operations, J&K.
The programme witnessed participation of designated Field Trainers from the Education Department, who will further train enumerators and supervisors at the grassroots level.
