Police arrests three drug peddlers in Pulwama

Srinagar: Police arrested three drug peddlers in Pulwama and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
He said that police personnel at a checkpoint established at Pinglena Pulwama intercepted a vehicle (Truck) bearing registration number PB06M-2585 with three persons on board. They have been identified as Jeet Masih son of Munshi Masih, Mandeep Singh son of Kashmir Singh and Gurpinder Kumar son of Chanchal Nath, all residents of Gurdaspora Punjab. During search, 4.5 Kgs of Fukki were recovered from their possession. They have been arrested and shifted to police station where they remain in custody.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 57/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama and further investigation set into motion, the spokesman added.
