Har Ghar Tiranga campaign gains momentum in Anantnag

ANANTNAG, AUGUST 04: As prelude to the Independence Day-2025, the three-Phase Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has gained significant momentum in Anantnag, and in its first phase a plethora of activities are being conducted across the district.

Notably, a District Coordination Cell headed by the Deputy Commissioner has been constituted for monitoring the progress of the campaign besides a detailed phase and event wise action plan has been chalked out for its smooth and effective implementation in the district.

CEO Anantnag informed that various activities enshrined under Phase-I i.e., creative art, wall painting, drawing, decoration and rangoli and rakhi making competitions, thread making and weaving on Tiranga with patriotic themes are being conducted in all educational institutions especially at 16 clusters, adding that monitoring teams to oversee these have also been constituted in all zones of the district.

Students and officials are actively participating in these activities and a patriotic and festive atmosphere is being witnessed in the institutions, he remarked.

Har Ghar Tiranga activities are also being performed by the RDD, Poshan, ULBs and other departments with enthusiastic participation of the stakeholders at grassroots level.

As the campaign goes on, many novel and innovative initiatives celebrating the spirit of the Independence Day are expected to become its part in the district.
