ADC Bhaderwah convenes meeting with members of civil society

BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 13: A public meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, at his office chamber. The meeting brought together representatives of civil society, prominent citizens and community leaders to discuss pressing issues in the town.

The meeting was attended by ASP Vinod Kumar; Tehsildar Kamal Preet Singh, President of Sanatan Dharam Sabha Satish Kumar, President of Anjuman Islamia Riyaz Ahmed Najar, along with senior citizens and civil society members including Mast Nath Yogi, Mohd Ashraf Goni, Shabir Ahmed Chowdhury, Manoj Padha, Vaid Parkash, Manoj Kotwal, Jugal Kishor, Naseer Mahboob (President of Youth Action Committee), Abdul Hafiz Khateeb, and others.

During the meeting, citizens strongly demanded the restoration of internet services in Bhaderwah, emphasizing the difficulties faced by students, traders, and the general public.

Responding to the concerns, the ADC assured that internet services would be restored soon. He also directed the concerned officers to strictly monitor the rates of essential commodities to prevent overcharging.

The leaders and civil society Members across the communities appealed for maintaining communal harmony and strengthening the bond of brotherhood in the district. They stressed that peace and unity are the foundation of Bhaderwah’s social fabric and all citizens must work together to safeguard it.
