Director Agriculture reviews physical, financial progress under CAPEX, HADP & NABARD

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 25: Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the physical and financial progress under the CSS, CAPEX, HADP and NABARD schemes.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (SLUB/Farms) Aman Jyoti Sharma; Deputy Director (Planning) Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar; Accounts Officer Vishnu Kant Sharma; Assistant Agrostologist N.P. Singh; Technical Officer HADP (DoAJ) Raj Kumar, besides other officers and staff of the department. The Chief Agriculture Officers of Jammu Division attended the meeting through video conferencing.

The Director Agriculture asked the Districts to submit Monthly Progress Report (MPR) for all schemes to the Directorate by tomorrow without fail. He further instructed to ensure that pending DPRs are completed and submitted immediately.

Reviewing the progress under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), the Director Agriculture stressed on expediting activities under the Integrated Farming System (IFS) Project. He directed officers to clear all pending bills related to the project on priority.

The Director also conducted a detailed review of expenditure under NABARD and instructed the officers to complete the pending works and liabilities pertaining to the Baba Jitto Project in Doda district. He also directed to clear the pending expenditure and bills of Agronomist (VIS), SM Farm Chinore, SM Farm Chakroi and Kathua district at the earliest.

The Director emphasized timely execution of works and maintaining financial discipline to ensure efficient implementation of all departmental programmes.
