POONCH, FEBRUARY 11: A meeting of the District Cooperative Development Committee (DCDC) was convened here today to deliberate upon and approve proposals under the Cooperative Infrastructure Development Fund (CIDF) and Cash Credit Limit (CCL) schemes of the Cooperative Department.
District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ashok Kumar Sharma chaired the meeting. At the outset, the Deputy Registrar presented and explained the proposals aimed at strengthening cooperative institutions across the district. The initiatives have been designed to provide essential financial and infrastructural support to cooperative societies, thereby enhancing their operational capacity, sustainability and outreach.
After detailed deliberations, the Committee approved the proposed projects, expressing confidence that these measures shall significantly improve service delivery to cooperative members and generate broader public benefits.
The DDC stressed the importance of ensuring timely and effective implementation of the sanctioned proposals to achieve the intended outcomes and further strengthen the cooperative movement in the district.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Lead District Manager, Assistant Director Food & Supplies, Assistant Director Handloom, Manager JCC Bank, Assistant Registrars of various blocks and other concerned officers.
