DC Doda reviews progress of projects under SASCI, DAJ-GUA and Heritage initiatives

DODA, FEBRUARY 18: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh today chaired a comprehensive review meeting at DC Office Complex Doda to assess the progress of various developmental projects being implemented under the SASCI, Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJ-GUA) and Heritage initiatives in the district.

During the meeting, the DC Doda undertook a detailed sector-wise review of ongoing works and evaluated both the physical and financial progress of the projects.

Emphasis was laid on timely execution, adherence to quality standards and optimal utilization of allocated resources to ensure that the intended benefits reach the public without delay. The DC Doda also emphasized the timely procurement of essential infrastructure for girls’ hostels, including almirahs, furniture, racks and other requisite items, under these initiatives.

Officers from the concerned departments briefed the chair on the current status of projects, challenges faced during implementation and measures being adopted to overcome bottlenecks.

The DC Doda directed the concerned XENs and AEEs to ensure timely completion of all ongoing projects under the said initiatives and stressed the need for close monitoring and effective coordination among departments.

The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Roshan Lal, Chief Planning Officer Doda Manesh Kumar, CMO Doda, Superintending Engineer PWD (R&B) Circle Doda, Sheep Husbandry Officer Doda, concerned XENs and AEEs.
