84 Bn CRPF organizes “Free Medical Camp” at Village Palli

RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 20: As a part of CRPF’s social outreach initiative, the 84 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of Jammu Sector CRPF, today organized a day long free Medical Camp at the remote village of Palli. The objective of the camp was to provide healthcare services to the needy villagers residing in the far flung areas.

The camp was inaugurated by Commandant N Ranbir Singh in the presence of Second in Command Vikram Singh, Asstt Cdt Roop Ram Meena and other prominent villagers.

During the camp, free medical consultations, treatment, diagnostic tests like ECG, Blood and Sugar tests and free medicines were provided to over 300 villagers including elderly women and children from Palli and nearby areas. A free First Aid Kit with basic medicines was also provided to the Village Health Worker for future use.

While addressing the gathering, the Commandant stated that CRPF, the largest paramilitary Force, is entrusted with the responsibility of Internal Security of the vast and diverse India. Besides performing security duties, the Force undertakes various Civic Action Programmes to foster strong bonds with the local populace and to contribute in nation-building.

The medical team of 84 Bn included Dr Anu Gorke SMO/DC and Dr Biranmol Singh MO/AC and paramedics.
The villagers expressed their deep appreciation to the 84 Bn CRPF for organizing such a Free Medical Camp in their remote village.
