RAJOURI, MARCH 14: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma on Saturday chaired a meeting to review the progress of Rural Development sector schemes and programs being implemented in the district.

The meeting reviewed the status of the District CAPEX Budget 2025-26, including works under DDC, BDC, PRI, SSY, ABDP and APDP. Detailed discussions were also held on the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), MGNREGA (VB-G RAM-G) and PMAY-G 1.0 & 2.0 across all blocks of the district.

The District Development Commissioner also reviewed the status of uploading of information of works on the E-Nazar portal and directed the concerned officers to ensure timely and accurate updates for effective monitoring.

While reviewing the progress under MGNREGA, the DDC emphasized ensuring timely payments to beneficiaries. He instructed the officers to take necessary measures for recovery of delayed payments as per the provisions of the MGNREGA Act. He also reviewed the status of Aadhar seeding, block-wise eKYC progress, geo-tagging reports of Phase-I and Phase-III works, and block-wise pending works requiring physical completion.
