DC reviews restoration status of flood-damaged Infrastructure in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, APRIL 04: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting with officers of stakeholder departments to review the status of infrastructure damages caused by the 2025 floods and the progress of permanent restoration works undertaken under the UT Capex Budget 2025–26.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh; Executive Engineers of PWD, Jal Shakti and JPDCL along with other concerned officers.

The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed department-wise review of the ongoing restoration works. He also sought updates on the division-wise assessment of damages to roads and bridges and the status of works initiated for permanent restoration of projects.

Stressing the importance of timely completion, the DC directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work and ensure that projects are restored and completed at the earliest.
