KISHTWAR, JULY 18: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed ₹4.7 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar Tasleem Wani.
₹1 lakh was disbursed to the legal heir of the deceased, ₹75,000 each to two permanently disabled victims, ₹50,000 each to four grievously injured victims and ₹10,000 each to two victims with minor injuries.
The J&K Road Accident Victim Fund provides financial support to families affected by road accidents.
The families who received compensation were: Arti Devi W/o Lt Sandeep Kumar, R/o Begana Matta, Kishtwar; Manzoor Ahmed S/o Ghulam Hussain, R/o Telen, Palmar, Kishtwar; Rahul Kumar S/o Kunj Lal, R/o Palmar; Aliya Banoo D/o Nisar Ahmed, R/o Binoon, Bunjwah; Sehran Najar S/o Gh Mohd Najar, R/o Bagwan Mohalla, Kishtwar; Neha Parihar W/o Sameer Parihar, R/o Chewar, Palmar, Kishtwar; Satyam Parihar S/o Sameer Parihar, R/o Chewar, Palmar, Kishtwar; Sameer Parihar S/o Kushi Ram, R/o Chewar, Palmar, Kishtwar and Aradhya Parihar D/o Sameer Parihar, R/o Chewar, Palmar, Kishtwar.
