ADC meets members of Hotel Association to boost tourism coordination in Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, APRIL 11: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today chaired a meeting with members of the Hotel Association and other tourism stakeholders to discuss measures for the improvement and promotion of tourism in Bhaderwah.

The meeting was attended by ASP Vinod Sharma, Chief Executive Officer BDA Sanjeev Sharma, Tehsildar Kamalpreet Singh, AO BDA Manit Ganjoo, President Hotel Association Tariq Choudhary, Tourism Travel Trade Association representative, Manish Kotwal, members of Bhaderwah Adventure Tourism Association (BATA) including Vikas Sharma and other stakeholders associated with “Amazing Bhaderwah.”

The meeting discussed Action plan for enhancing tourist facilities, maintaining quality services and ensuring better coordination among departments. The stakeholders highlighted issues related to infrastructure, hospitality standards and tourist management.

The ADC emphasized the need for maintaining transparency and directed the Chief Officer BDA to ensure that a proper rate list of essential commodities is made available to tourists to avoid overcharging. He further instructed the Police Department to ensure proper safety and security arrangements at all tourist destinations.
