UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 23: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ananth Dwivedi today chaired a meeting with the officers concerned to review ongoing development works at Government Medical College (GMC) Baili, Udhampur.
The DC reviewed the construction of the new academic block; Type-I, II, III, IV and V blocks; the approach road to GMC; the Government Nursing College; the girls’ hostel; dedicated water supply schemes; the boundary wall; electrification; and the installation of solar lights. He also reviewed the status of works under the Capex Budget Plan 2026–27.
The executing agencies were directed to expedite the remaining works, mobilise adequate manpower and resources, address bottlenecks and complete all pending components within the prescribed timelines.
The Principal GMC Udhampur was directed to coordinate closely with the executing agencies and departments concerned, monitor ongoing works regularly and help resolve issues wherever required.
