GANDERBAL, AUGUST 17: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of AgriStack farmer registration in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of farmer registration and data updation under AgriStack, which is aimed at creating a digital foundation for agriculture by bringing together verified agricultural and farmer-related data to facilitate better access to services and farmer-focused benefits.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Ganderbal and SDM Kangan to ensure maximum coverage of farmers under the registration process.
He further directed all Tehsildars to organise farmer registration camps in the identified villages to accelerate the process and facilitate registration of maximum eligible farmers. He stressed upon proper verification of records and accuracy of data being entered on the AgriStack platform.
The Deputy Commissioner called for close monitoring of the registration process and directed the concerned Revenue functionaries to regularly review the progress, identify gaps and ensure timely completion of pending registrations.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kangan, Chief Agriculture Officer, all Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
