JAMMU, OCTOBER 08: Synchronizing with the national level programme, District Administration Jammu too launched the JOSH Team under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan here from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office today.
After watching the live broadcast of the national level programme, the District Jammu proceeded with its launch in presence of Member Legislative Assembly Rajeev Bhagat; Member Legislative Assembly Gharu Ram; Member Legislative Assembly Surinder Bhagat, besides Chief Medical Officer Dr Narinder Bhatial; CPO and DTO Jammu Dr Anu; all the Block Medical Officers; NCC Cadets and My Bharat volunteers.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to the representatives from TB Mukt Panchayats, NCC Cadets and My Bharat volunteers.
The Chief Medical officer sensitised the participants to the goals of Josh-team . He emphasized the importance of community participation and awareness in making Jammu district TB free. He also encouraged the Josh team members, including NCC Cadets, My Bharat volunteers and TB Mukt panchayat representatives to actively spread awareness about TB and support the ongoing TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. All the participants also took pledge to make India TB Free.
