Head, KVK Bandipora-1, Dr. Tariq Sultan, delivered a detailed technical presentation on natural farming, highlighting its fundamental principles, scientific approaches and significance in promoting sustainable agriculture. He elaborated on the importance of maintaining soil health, enhancing soil fertility, promoting beneficial soil microorganisms and reducing dependence on chemical fertilisers and pesticides through the effective utilisation of locally available natural resources.

As part of the programme, Dr. Sultan conducted practical demonstrations on the preparation and use of Jeevamrit, Ghanjeevamrit and Beejamrit, explaining their preparation methods, agricultural significance and role in natural farming.
