GANDERBAL, OCTOBER 29: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Ganderbal, Syed Fahim Ahmad Bihaqi chaired a meeting at the VC Room, Mini Secretariat Complex, Ganderbal, to review arrangements for the celebration of National Unity Day (Ekta Diwas) on October 31, 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The ADC directed all concerned departments and officers to ensure active participation and make adequate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the celebrations. Educational institutions were also asked to facilitate the participation of students and teachers.
The ADC stressed that coordinated efforts and active participation from all stakeholders are essential to make the celebrations successful and meaningful, reinforcing the values of national unity, integrity, fraternity and solidarity.
