Baramulla: A middle aged man ended his life by jumping into the river Jehlum in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
Police sources said that a 45-year-old man identified as Ali Muhammed Wani son of Atta Muhammed Wani of Dedwana village of Kupwara jumped into the river Jehlum in Chanakhan area of Sopore.
The rescuers retrieved him and shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. [KNT]
