Jammu: A Day after terror struck twice in the bordering Rajouri district, the sleuths of National Investigating Agency on Tuesday visited the spot while Jammu Police have also announced reward to anybody sharing information about militants involved in the attacks.
Six people including minor siblings were killed and 15 injured in firing and IED explosion in village Dhangri of Rajouri district.
“The NIA team this morning visited the site of attacks to investigate the matter,” official sources added.
Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh in a message circulated on social media said, “anybody sharing specific information regarding the militants involved in the gruesome terror attack at Dhangri, Rajouri shall be rewarded Rs 10 Lakh.”
“The details of the informer shall be kept secret,” the message read.
However, telephone numbers 9596520120, 7006699696, 01962-262515 have also been shared by the police.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited Rajouri and met the families of those killed in attacks.
He termed the incidents as barbaric acts and assured that justice will be delivered.
“Justice will be delivered and we assure that the administration and police will go to the bottom of the case and ensure justice to the families of the deceased,” said Sinha.
“The Government of India is committed to zero tolerance against terrorism while ex-servicemen and VDCs will be strengthened further and the government will take more measures to augment the security structure,” said Sinha.
