Srinagar, Sep 08: The family members of a 17-year-old boy from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday staged a protest here in Srinagar and demanded justice.

Scores of family members of Shakir Ahmad, whose body was recovered from a stream in Tangmarg on June 15 this year, assembled at Srinagar’s Press enclave and alleged that their beloved son was murdered by the people associated with Al Muzamil Trust in Lawaypora.

The protesting family said the body of Shakir Ahmad was found in a stream in Tangmarg on June 15th.

“Since then, we have received no information or any other details regarding the post-mortem, and it has been a very long time since we are waiting for these details,” the protesting family members said.

“Three months have passed, and we still have received no information in this regard. We would like to request the authorities to look into the matter and ensure the justice is done at earliest,” they said.KNO
