BANDIPORA, April 03: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Wednesday conducted extensive tour of various areas and paid surprise visit to schools including GMS Chaliwaan, Primary School Budinar, Girls High School Nadihal and other adjacent schools in the area besides inspected FP Shop Chaliwaan and NTPHC Nadihal.
During the visit, the DC thoroughly evaluated various aspects of schools, including infrastructure, sanitation, Mid Day Meal and teaching facilities.
The surprise visit to schools was aimed to gain first-hand appraisal by interacting with students and staff.
During the visit, the DC inspected classrooms, libraries, sports rooms, etc, to evaluate infrastructure and facilities available in the schools.
In addition to assessing physical infrastructure, the DC interacted with school Heads, teachers and students to take feedback and address their concerns and issues.
On the way, the DC inspected Fair Price Shop Chaliwaan to check fairness and transparency in the distribution of food grains.
The DC also visited NTPHC Nadihal to review its functioning and assessed various aspects of the NTPHC, including infrastructure, cleanliness, availability of medical supplies, and the quality of patient care.
ACD Bandipora, Mumtaz Ahmad Pir; Dy DEO Bandipora, Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat; Tehsildar Bandipora, Firdous Ahmad Qadri and other concerned officers and officials accompanied the DC during the visit.
