GANDERBAL, MAY 03: Under the SVEEP Action plan, the Debates Committee of the Government Degree College (GDC) Ganderbal in collaboration with the Department of Political Science today organized a Panel Discussion on the topic ‘Vote for Power, Vote for Progress: The Route Ahead’.

The discussion started with a deliberation on the importance of vote and the process of voting by Dr. Wasia, Convenor Debates Committee.
An extensive presentation was given by Prof. Nazneen, Head Department of Political Science.
Principal of the College, Prof. Fouzia Fatima initiated the panel discussion and expressed her positive opinions regarding the theme.
Various staff members and students of the College participated in the discussion and highlighted the importance and need of the voting process.
The panel discussion served as an important platform for the exchange of enthusiastic views and ideas, thereby, setting out the route ahead for progress and success.
A Voter Education Sensitization/Signature Campaign was also held in the College during which a huge number of first time voters came forward and signed the Banner under the slogan “Nothing like Voting: I Vote for Sure”@ May 13,2024 for District Ganderbal.
