KATRA, MAY 29: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University conducted a One Day Training Program on “Procurement through GeM” for Heads of all Schools, PIs, Members of Engineering wing, DRs, ARs & SOs, AAO, ASO and Staff from various wings like S&P, MAC, Sports, Central Library, & network Centre of the University.
The aim was to provide practical training to Faculty and Staff on how to use GeM effectively & to apprise them of the features like, Bid Creation, Push Button Procurement, & Bunching, etc.
Neeraj Gupta, Finance Officer, SMVDU inaugurated the Training programme attended by 57 participants.
Ankit Jhawar Deputy Director-State & UTs, GeM gave an introductory lecture on GeM and Javeed Ahmed Shaikh Business Facilitator (Jammu & Kashmir/Ladakh) at GeM and Trainer conducted the technical training.
The program was organized by the Stores and Procurement Wing of the University.
