REASI, JUNE 26: A coordinated demolition drive was today conducted to remove illegal structures obstructing the construction of the Delhi-Katra Expressway in District Reasi. This operation was carried out in Dharore and Kandyar villages.
The joint action involved the Revenue Department, Police Department, Forest Department and representatives from the National Highway Authority.
The illegal structures had been causing significant delays in the progress of the expressway construction, which is a crucial infrastructure project aimed at enhancing connectivity and economic development.
District Development Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan emphasized the importance of this operation for the timely completion of the expressway.
