District Magistrate Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat as per the news agency said that they are going to revive a helpline number for people who have issues related to mental health.

“Some years back a helpline number was started and had good traffic, but later that could not pick up. Now, we are going to revive it for the people who need awareness and support regarding mental health,” he said.

He said there will be the availability of mental health experts, psychiatrists at Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), located at HMT Srinagar.

“Not only parents but rest of the society too should move together and not let a young boy or girl to reach a level where they decide to end their life,” Deputy Commissioner Srinagar added
