Assembly Elections-2024 SVEEP Initiative: CEO Office hosts Nukkad Natak at Jammu’s Padma Shri Padma Sachdev College for Women

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 02: Chief Electoral Office J&K today organised a Nukkad Natak at Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government PG College For Women, Gandhi Nagar here under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP).

Akther Hussain Qazi, Nodal officer of SVEEP and Sapna Kotwal, Nodal Officer for Media were present at the program. Both the officers imparted awareness to students which aims to strengthen the visibility, outreach, and effectiveness of SVEEP activities across the J&K Union Territory.

The program also focused around the critical importance of voter participation, especially the First Time Voters among the students.

Both the officer expressed confidence that this initiative would significantly improve the voter awareness, particularly among the First Time Voters, which will foster greater inclusivity and positively contributing to the democratic process.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof S.P Sarawat, Principal Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government PG College For Women, also encouraged the students to actively participate in the electoral exercise and encouraged their near and dear ones to cast their votes on the polling day in their respective Assembly Constituencies.

Prof Sarawat also assured that the College will continue such activities till the conclusion of Assembly Elections.
Other staff members of the college were also present at the program.
