SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 18: The District Election Officer (DEO) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today conducted an early morning visit to various polling stations of the district to take stock of the facilities for voters and assess the polling process.
The DEO began the day by overseeing the mock poll exercise at GHSS Shopian, ensuring that all preparations were in place for a smooth voting experience.
He then visited Green polling Station at Borihallan, Polling stations at Chotipora, Wathoo, Chowan, Nagbal, and Khatohallan in Shopian AC and Pink Polling Station in Zainapora, Dachoo and others to review the arrangements and observe the voting process.
During his interactions with voters, DEO expressed his satisfaction with the poll process and thanked the residents for their active participation in the democratic process.
Later in the day, DEO monitored the poll process of polling stations from the integrated control room.
