The DC also visited 132 KV Grid Station Bemina to take stock of the power scenario.
On the occasion, the DC was informed that power is being supplied to most of the City parts as per notified schedule, besides men and machinery are on job to restore the faulty feeders catering parts of the City.
The DC directed the concerned department to carry out the restoration measures at a fast pace to restore supply in next two hours.
The DC also directed the officers of SMC, Fire & Emergency, UEED, to ensure dewatering at all water logged areas at an earliest. He also directed them to ensure snow clearance from all interior roads in the district. During the visit, the DC also instructed the officials to ensure their presence on the ground during night hours also in view of inclement weather so that public services remain uninterrupted/restored at earliest.
