KULGAM, OCTOBER 29: The District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam today organized an awareness programme for students at Govt. Polytechnic College Kulgam.
General Manager District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone, Principal Govt. Polytechnic College Kulgam, IPOs and other resource persons were present in the awareness session.
The General Manager spoke about industrialization and its importance and sensitized the participants about the different schemes and incentives of the Industries and Commerce Department.
He also sensitized the participants about prevailing drug menace and urged them to stay away from such activities and be focused to achieve their goals.
Principal Polytechnic College Kulgam, Altaf Gowhar also delivered a speech and motivated young technically equipped students towards innovation and entrepreneurship.
During the programme, detailed sessions regarding brief overview and benefits under PMEGP, NCSS, MSME, PM Vishwakarama and Land Allotment were discussed.
The programme ended with a questions/ answer session and witnessed a threadbare discussion between the participants and speakers.
