KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 14: The Vice Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today took a review of progress of different ongoing projects under different sectors in territorial constituency Wavoora (Lolab) at BDO office Wavoora.
The Vice Chairman took a detailed review of tendering, work allotments, execution and timely completion of different ongoing projects under different Sectors including RDD, Education, ICDS, R&B , Health, Youth Service & Sports, PDD, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry, CAPD.
The Vice Chairman received feedback from the concerned officers regarding measures taken for timely completion of different projects. Haji Farooq stressed on gearing up all resources to speed up the progress on execution of all the works and their timely completion.
Haji Farooq directed concerned officers to accord the technical sanction and tender process of Siver Bridge under NABARD and Lone Mohalla Affan Bridge so that work on bridges is started well in time.
Vice Chairman also took detailed appraisal of availability of firewood, buffer stock of transformers, Poles etc in wake of harsh winter. BDO Wavoora /Sogam, ZEO Wavoora, BMO, Engineers of different departments, Range Officers and other concerned sectoral officers attended the meeting.
