RAJOURI, DECEMBER 10: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, chaired a review meeting today to assess the progress of projects under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVKY), implemented by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. The meeting focused on the utilization of funds and the status of projects across various departments.

During the meeting, departments presented updates on projects, with some incomplete submissions and others facing delays. In the health sector, the Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri reported the successful submission of a complete project related to the Radiotherapy Block, along with machinery and equipment to augment healthcare facilities. Similarly, the AYUSH Department highlighted its project aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the district.

However, concerns were raised regarding the delay in the submission of project by the education department. Dr. Thapa expressed dissatisfaction over the non-submission of projects and directed the Education and Health Departments to submit and upload their pending projects by tomorrow positively. He further instructed all departments to submit an Action Taken Report (ATR) within the same timeframe.

“The timely completion and proper submission of projects are essential for ensuring the intended benefits reach the people. All departments must expedite their efforts and address delays,” the ADDC emphasized.

The ADDC urged all stakeholders to prioritize the completion of ongoing projects to maximize the impact of the PMJVKY initiative in uplifting minority communities in the district.

The meeting was attended by Medical Superintendent Shamim Ahmed, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Abdul Raheem, and other senior officials from various departments.
