RAJOURI, DECEMBER 31: A meeting of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Committee was held here today under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa to deliberate on relief cases under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
The committee reviewed 63 cases related to relief and rehabilitation. After detailed discussions and scrutiny, 18 cases were rejected as they were found not to be covered under the prescribed guidelines, 07 cases were referred back to the respective Tehsildar for re verification to ensure accurate assessment & 38 cases were approved for sanction of relief under the SDRF.
The ADDC emphasized the importance of adhering to SDRF guidelines while ensuring that genuine beneficiaries receive the necessary support in a timely manner. He directed the concerned officers to expedite the processing of approved cases and complete the re verification of referred cases at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by senior officers from the Revenue Department and other members of the SOP Committee.
