DLIC approves 317 cases under HADP in Bandipora

BANDIPORA, MARCH 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Tuesday chaired a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.

The committee approved a total of 317 cases of different departments under HADP including 104 cases of Sheep Husbandry Department, 90 from Agriculture Department, 78 from Horticulture and 45 from Animal Husbandry Department.

During the meeting, the DC emphasised evaluating progress, addressing challenges, and outlining a strategy for the accelerated implementation of the programme to benefit the eligible farmers.

He emphasized that effective collaboration among concerned departments is essential for proper planning, execution, and monitoring of HADP activities.

On the occasion, Qadri underlined the role of these initiatives in creating employment opportunities for youth. He urged all concerned departments to extend full support to individuals seeking employment in agriculture and related fields.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer and other officers from concerned departments.
