JAMMU, MARCH 29: Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) remains committed to providing comfortable, affordable, and reliable public transport services across Jammu city and neighbouring areas, including Kathua, Katra, and Udhampur.
To address annual revision of operational costs and ensure the continued efficiency of public transport services, JSCL has revised the fare structure with a 7% escalation over the prevailing tariff, effective April 1, 2025.
This revision, undertaken as per the directions of the Finance Department, is aimed at revising rates as per latest costing in bus operations while maintaining high service standards.
Additionally, in line with the Chief Minister’s announcement, the Department is working towards the implementation of free rides for women on eBuses. Further details and operational guidelines will be shared in due course.
