BHADERWAH, APRIL 08: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today convened an introductory meeting with officers from different departments to review ongoing developmental works in the Sub Division and enhance inter-departmental coordination.

The meeting was attended by ASP, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Tehsil Bhalla, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B) and Irrigation & FC, Divisional Forest Officer, CDPO, Block Medical Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Executive Officer of Municipal Committee, besides officers from the Social Welfare, Agriculture, and Education Departments, along with Principals of the government institutions.

The ADC took a comprehensive review of developmental projects across the sub-division. He emphasized the importance of effective ground-level monitoring, transparency and timeline completion of the projects to benefit the public. The departments were directed to maintain close coordination to resolve execution challenges, especially in remote and underserved areas.

A major highlight of the meeting was the focus on curbing drug abuse in the region. The ADC called upon the Education, Health, and Social Welfare Departments to intensify awareness campaigns, workshops, and community engagement programs in educational institutions and localities. He underlined the role of preventive education, student counselling, and youth-centric sports and cultural activities to address this growing menace and protect the younger generation.

The ADC urged officers and officials to keep a close check on trouble makers to avoid any potential threat to social harmony. He stressed the importance of fostering unity, inclusivity, and a peaceful administrative environment to ensure balanced development and societal well-being in the region.
