GCOE organises lecture on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

JAMMU, APRIL 25: The Government College of Education Jammu organized a lecture-cum-awareness programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for the students under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

The College Principal Dr. Jyoti Parihar was the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of IPR awareness in academic and professional fields.

Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, SPPND Government College, Samba, Dr. Pooja was the resource person for the programme.

Convener of IIC, Cell Sunanda Rani, formally welcomed the resource person and highlighted the initiatives of the IIC Cell in promoting innovation and entrepreneurial skills among students.

The Resource Person delivered an insightful lecture on various aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and its relevance in today’s innovation-driven environment. The event witnessed the presence of faculty members including Dr. Shubhra Jamwal, Prof. Priyanka Mahajan, Prof. Chanchal Singh, Prof. Kiran Thapa.

The programme concluded with an interactive session where students enthusiastically participated and clarified their queries on the subject. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shuhra Jamwal.
