DODA, MAY 05: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, conducted an interactive session with students at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, here today. The visit aimed to inspire students and address their concerns, especially in light of the recently declared 10th and 12th examination results.

During the session, the DC emphasized the importance of education as the foundation for personal and professional growth. He encouraged students to stay curious, participate actively in academics and co-curricular activities, and to pursue their dreams with confidence.

The programme included a lively question-and-answer round, where the students posed thoughtful queries. The DC appreciated their enthusiasm and urged them to think critically, remain disciplined, and work consistently towards their goals.

In a move to support students’ mental well-being, the DC shared the Telemanas helpline number ‘14416’. This helpline provides counseling for those facing stress or personal challenges affecting their mental health.

The event was attended by the Chief Education Officer, Principal of the host school, other functionaries and staff members. The session served as a meaningful platform for students to voice their concerns and seek guidance.
