Inter-School Zonal Level Tournament kick-starts at Zone Bhalla Doda

DODA, MAY 07: An Inter-School Zonal Level Tournament was today inaugurated here at Zone Bhalla under the guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Pritam Singh.

The tournament has been organized by the office of I/C Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) and hosted at Government Higher Secondary School Berreru.

The event featured competitions in multiple disciplines including Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carrom, and Badminton. A total of 275 U-14 boys from different schools participated in the tournament, showcasing their athletic talents and team spirit. The matches were conducted in a vibrant atmosphere, promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie among the youth.

Principal of the host school Annjeel Thakur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and commended the students for their dedication and passion for sports. He encouraged the young athletes to continue pursuing excellence both on and off the field.

I/C ZPEO Bhalla, Subash Chander served as the Nodal Officer for the event and played a key role in ensuring its smooth execution. The dedicated contributions of all Physical Education Lecturers (PELs), Physical Education Masters (PEMs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs), Rehbar-e-Khel (REKs), and National Youth Corps (NYCs) members were instrumental in the successful conduct of the tournament.
