SHOPIAN, MAY 23: On the directions of Director Ayush J&K, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir Shah, AYUSH Shopian today conducted a yoga session at Govt High School Trenz.
A Village Health and Nutrition Day (VHND) was also observed at Anganwadi Centre Borihalan by Ayush Health and Wellness Center Heerpora.
During the VHND, various health services were provided to the local community including general health check-ups, awareness on maternal and child health, distribution of Ayush medicines and counselling on nutrition and hygiene.
The session aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and spreading awareness about the benefits of Ayush-based wellness practices among the rural population.
Also, free Anemia Mukt Bharat Camp was organized by AHWC Reshinagri at Ahmadiya Public School Reshinagri, where students and locals were screened for anemia, counselled and given Ayush-based dietary advice for anemia prevention and management.
