RAJOURI, JUNE 04: Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma today chaired a meeting in his office chamber to assess the progress of Mission YUVA in the district.

The meeting was held in hybrid mode, with all Block Headquarter Development (BHD) Nodal Officers, ADCs, SDMs and ACR participating virtually.

The Deputy Commissioner directed ADCs, SDMs, and ACR to closely monitor the functioning and outreach of YUVA Doots across their respective jurisdictions. He asked them to mobilize YUVA Doots to organize awareness camps in every Panchayat and ward by June 30, 2025, and create dedicated WhatsApp groups of potential entrepreneurs to ensure consistent engagement and follow-up.

The BHD Nodal Officers were instructed to hold at least two awareness camps per week to intensify outreach and mobilize youth. They were also directed to ensure the timely collection and submission of applications under Mission YUVA.

Sub Divisional Nodal Officers were tasked with conducting weekly reviews of the activities of YUVA Doots and to provide necessary assistance to the applicants in completing the formalities.

As the Head of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), the Deputy Commissioner also issued directions to the District Nodal Officer of JKEDI, NABARD and the Industries Department to expedite the processing of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs). Other committee members were asked to ensure timely processing of the cases through the SBDU for necessary approvals at the DLIC level.

Additionally, the Deputy Director Employment was asked to immediately follow up on the creation of login credentials for BHD team members and to increase awareness regarding the use of the Mission YUVA mobile application.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of Mission YUVA in fostering entrepreneurship among youth and called for coordinated efforts to achieve the mission’s objectives in a time-bound manner.
