BANDIPORA, JULY 04: As part of ongoing efforts to ensure seamless arrangements for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, conducted an inspection of the Shadipora Transit Camp to assess the quality of facilities and services being provided to the pilgrims.

The visit was aimed at taking a firsthand appraisal of the infrastructure, logistics, and support systems established for yatris at one of the key transit points.

On the occasion, DC was accompanied by SDM Sumbal, Tehsildar Sumbal and other concerned officers.
During the inspection, DC thoroughly reviewed accommodation arrangements, sanitation measures, medical aid stations, and other critical amenities. He laid special emphasis on maintaining hygiene, ensuring round-the-clock medical assistance, and upholding safety standards to provide a hassle-free experience for pilgrims.

While interacting with the yatris during the visit, DC sought direct feedback on their experience. The pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, particularly highlighting the availability of clean accommodation, timely medical assistance, and cooperative support staff.

Qadri directed the concerned departments to remain on alert and address any emerging issues promptly.
