Ganderbal, Apr 04 : Over the past fortnight, the absence of several garbage collection vehicles provided by Block Gund in Ganderbal has stirred frustration among local residents and hotel owners.
According to the news agency—, despite paying a monthly fee for waste collection from people, the non-arrival of these vehicles has led to a proliferation of waste on roadsides and unauthorized areas.
Residents and business owners are distressed by the adverse environmental impacts resulting from the negligence, with streets and public spaces becoming inundated with discarded garbage. Hotel proprietors said they are facing mounting issues in absence of garbage collection services.
