Srinagar, Dec 16 : School Education Department has given a final chance to its teaching and other staff to submit the requisite documents who have acquired higher qualification during service through distance and online mode without obtaining prior permission.

In an official communiqué, the department as per news agency has said that the department had extended one time exemption in favour of its teaching and other staff who have acquired higher qualification during service through distance and online mode without obtaining prior permission from the administrative department.

“In this regard, Committees have been constituted at directorate levels to verify the genuine and equivalence of their PG degree acquired through distance and online mode during the service and eligible incumbents will be considered after the final outcome of the reports of the concerned committees,” it reads.

It also said that the mandate of the designated committees constituted at directorate levels to verify the genuine and equivalence of the PG degree acquired through distance and online mode during the service have not submitted the reports and the details in respect of the remaining incumbents, despite the lapse of considerable timeline extended from time to time.

“Therefore, DSEK and DSEJ are requested to give final chance to the incumbents and the time line for submission for required documents by such master and teachers shall be a minimum of 21 days from the date the notice is published,” it reads
