ADC Handwara conducts inspection of GMC Handwara, PHC Magam

KUPWARA, APRIL 27: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather, conducted an overnight surprise inspection of Government Medical College (GMC) Handwara and Primary Health Centre (PHC) Magam in Sub Division Handwara to check the functioning of healthcare service provided to the people.
During the visit, the ADC inspected various sections of the GMC including OPD, IPD, Emergency, Gynea, X-Ray and other wards to get first hand insight of patient care, and checked the duty roster of the doctors and staff.
He interacted with the patients and enquired about the healthcare and treatment facilities being provided in the GMC.
The ADC also interacted with the doctors and medical staff and directed them to work with added dedication and ensure that all the patients especially the ones coming from far flung areas are provided better healthcare facilities.
The ADC also inspected PHC Magam and checked its functioning.
